Dr. Adewale Ogunlade, SAN

Dr. Adewale Ogunlade is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and the head of our Admiralty and Maritime Practice. With over 25 years of experience in maritime law, he has represented major shipping companies, oil and gas firms, and government agencies in complex shipping disputes. He is a recognized expert in vessel arrests, cargo claims, charter party disputes, and maritime regulatory compliance. He holds a Ph.D. in Maritime Law from the University of Lagos and has served as a consultant to the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA). He is also a member of the International Bar Association's Maritime Law Committee
